#1002: Sales Manager – Steam Generation, Asia

Job Summary:

Reporting to VP - Asia, he/she is responsible for managing and supporting ZETEC’s Steam Gen sales for China initially and the rest of Asia eventually. The position involves both strategic and tactical execution of Steam Gen sales activities. This position will involve further cultivating existing key customer relationships, developing new opportunities within key accounts, sales forecasting, reporting, managing reps, and follow ups. The position must fulfill product/service needs of the customer and stay involved in day to day sales activities.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Be the customer advocate – exceeding their expectation by prompt actions – develop customer intimacy – driving corporate Steam Gen sales goal for China and ultimately Asia region.

Work closely with local Reps and Customer Service team for correctness of the products and services – proposals, orders and inquiries

Work closely with Local Technical Service Team in Korea to coordinate and answer customer issues promptly

Plan and manage regional trade shows, conferences, and ZETEC Power Gen customer symposiums.

Recruit and Communicate with regional representatives and channel sales partners to improve sales tactics and approach. Visit accounts when necessary in order to develop new opportunities and assist in closing deals, etc., and report.

Contribute in evaluating sales organization, sales strategy, channel strategy and geographic coverage in China and each Asian country in the future in order to meet or exceed revenue target and corporate objectives

Be the master of Salesforce.com, sale CRM tool, to perform periodic and effective reporting to the senior leadership team on sales pipelines, revenue forecasts and key sales efforts

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years sales experience with at least 2 years in international sales role under quotas

Self-starter with “Can-Do” attitude and action oriented person

Aptitude to learn and understand NDT technology

Diligent closer with strong solution-selling skills for major Power Gen accounts

Ability and willingness to travel 75% of the time

Lives in China

Proven track record of working with alternate channel partners

General knowledge and first-hand selling experience in Asian countries with understanding of diverse business practices, cultural sensitivities and selling cycles.

Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin Chinese is a must.

Responsibilities:
Lead IT group of the company to provide high quality System Administration, Software Configuration Management, Resource management and business continuity and security management services. Ensure that R&D systems and network will meet not only current needs, but also future needs; Manage resources and assets accurately and effectively; Improve ISO9001:2000 system and ensure high customer satisfaction. Take charge of internal audit and coordinate external audit for the ISO9000 quality system. Collect and analyze customer survey information and feedback. Provide suggestions and proposals for improving quality system and customer satisfaction. Ensure that there is no employee injury or equipment damage caused by accident. Develop and maintain business continuity plan of projects and company. Support IT team to maintain Office Automation system, Quality management tool, CVS servers, network infrastructure etc.

Requirements:
a. Minimum University Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Master degree is preferable.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Highly self motivated and customer driven.
Good management skills and experience.
Minimum 3 years professional technical experience in Information Technology, especially in Unix and its variants, LAN/WAN network administration for R&D type environment. Knowledge in IT resource management.
Solaris 2.6 - 9 System/HP-UX/IBM AIX Administration for mid to large size data centers with relevant programming skills including Unix shell scripts and others. An in-depth understanding of Sun Enterprise servers and workstations, HP9000 server internals and peripherals. UNIX kernel knowledge has aptitude or ability to perform core dump analysis, Clustering technology knowledge, and Storage technology knowledge. Experience should also include UNIX in a LAN/WAN environment, configuring UNIX systems for optimal network performance across LAN and WAN.
Knowledge of telecommunication systems (Optical Systems, ATM, IP, WAN) is a strong plus.
Detailed knowledge of Clearcase administration and configuration management process
UNIX, Windows NT, Shell and Script Language
Configuration trouble shooting skills
Best to have 2+ years of ISO 9000 experience in IT field
Experiences in distributive software development environment
Office Automation or CRM system experience is a plus.
